🇷🇺 public Russia NASA tracks colossal asteroid on a close approach to Earth | The Jerusalem Post

Asteroid 99942 Apophis will make an exceptionally close approach to Earth on April 13, 2029. It will pass about 32,000 km (20,000 miles) from the planet’s surface, closer than many geostationary satellites and far nearer than the Moon. Scientists ruled out any chance of impact for at least the next 100 years after new radar observations in 2021.
