Your photos are scored based on factors like the Pokémon’s pose, apparent size, and how directly they face you, with rare behaviors potentially earning a four-star rating. These scores can be shared via in-game rankings, allowing you to compare your photography skills globally. A key feature is the investigation into the mysterious Illumina phenomenon in the Lental region. Working alongside Professor Mirror, you will explore dense jungles and vast deserts to unravel the truth behind this special glow that affects certain Pokémon and vegetation. Your observations and photos are crucial to understanding this strange occurrence, and they will help build your personal Pokémon Photodex. Beyond capturing moments, the game offers robust creative tools. You can save photos to an in-game album to edit and adjust them.
